The Super Air Knife comes from the factory with a 0.05 mm thick shim (= spacer foil) and is suitable for most applications. Some applications require a higher blowing force or air volume. Thicker shims increase the air gap, which leads to an increase in speed and force. However, air consumption and noise levels increase accordingly. Shim sets can be purchased as accessories: For stainless steel Air Knives, the shim set consists of 3 stainless steel foils: each 0.05 mm thick. Available in lengths 3" - 108".
