The shut-off valve with hose is an accessory for pipe sealing plugs and lifting bags. It forms part of the inflation system and allows the air supply to be safely shut off after inflation.
Once the sealing plug or lifting bag has been inflated, the valve can be closed, allowing the inflation hose to be disconnected without any loss of pressure. This enables the pneumatic device to remain pressurised during use while the inflation equipment is available for other applications.
